Clarion Pointe New Bern

I reviewed every hotel in New Bern. Almost didn't choose this one, glad I consider that some people write reviews in anger. Ultimately chose the Clarion Pointe for the location closest to a wedding we attended. This hotel is really nice. All remodeled and SPOTLESS! Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. If there was a complaint, the water pressure from the bathroom faucet was weak. But, that could be from a water saver being installed. Water pressure was fine for showering. Front Desk staff asked if a ground level room was OK. Advised if we found it to be noisy, we could be moved at no problem. Usually, in the summer the ground floor can be busy with out of town construction workers who get up early according to them. However, we never heard a sound. Rooms were very quiet. As for the complaints about their breakfast. First, it's free, seriously shut up! No, there isn't any eggs, bacon or sausage. Plenty of bagels, different types of bread for toast, waffles, oatmeal, muffins, fruit and yogurt. If you need eggs, bacon and sausage there are 100 places you can walk or drive in seconds to fulfill your bacon, sausage and egg needs. We cannot advise about the pool because it's closed during the winter and didn't use the gym, but the gym had what you needed to get a workout done. For the price, cleanliness, comfort, decent food for a light breakfast and friendly staff. We'd definitely be happy to book another stay here at the Clarion Pointe in New Bern.

Need more washer in dryers. Great clean rooms. Better breakfast. Very clean. I would definitely recommend here for relaxing

This was my second time staying at Clarion Pointe in New Bern. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The AC was not blowing hard or very cold but the front desk young lady brought us a tall tower fan to help with that. Very accommodating. The breakfast was good although I wish the orange juice dispenser was working properly. Just water was coming out. Location is great and overall we were happy with our stay.

A very nice, clean hotel. No complaints. At first I was worried because our room was directly across from the ice machine, but I did not hear a thing! We would definitely stay there again.

Looked like the hotel was recently renovated, could sense the paint odor. Didn’t go for breakfast but it was in a small space. Apart from it, the rooms and hallway were clean and the restroom was also comfortable.

This hotel was amazing for sure!!! My mom and I flew in from New Jersey to North Carolina for a funeral. A family member Alice recommended this hotel Clarion Point. And I’m telling you it did not disappoint!! The hotel was exceptionally clean especially to our standards. The staff was nice, the cleaning staff was amazing. We will forever stay at this hotel every time we come to North Carolina. I recommend this hotel to anyone. I give this hotel a 5 star!! Keep up the good work Clarion Point and keep it clean!!! Thank you to everyone!!!

Room is clean, bed is comfortable. The real win here for me was the front desk staff. I arrived at 1am, exhausted, and Sharon was very helpful and kind. The kindness was most welcoming after a long drive and late night. Thank you.
